My desire to learn and understand goes beyond books, podcasts and research articles. It’s the people – when our paths cross – that is what makes life interesting and fulfilling. No matter the reason we meet, I devote my attention and care toward my personal goal of helping to the best of my abilities. From a young age I adopted the role of ‘mentor’, ‘teacher’ and ‘friend to all’. Always meeting my clients where they are, my analytical mind and ability to listen, learn and then speak has served everyone well. I’ve worn many hats in my work and have had the pleasure of helping people of all abilities and ages. Some recovering from devastating physical, cognitive or mental health injury, some proudly breaking their personal best in their latest half-marathon, some sharing the news of their pregnancy after improving their metabolic health and some declaring that their doctor has reduced or removed their medications since they are in such good condition physically.
Personally, I find joy by getting outdoors – especially in fair-weather – participating in activities like walking, running, cycling, paddling and hiking. Nothing compares to being in nature surrounded by tall trees and water. I treasure time spent with family and friends and I strive to live mindfully and intentionally by creating uplifting routines and relaxing rituals.
